Empowering teachers across Thailand and Vietnam with essential AI knowledge and digital literacy to transform education

Implemented by Kenan Foundation Asia and funded through the AI Opportunity Fund: Asia Pacific, in collaboration with AVPN and supported by Google.org and the Asian Development Bank— this two-year initiative (2025–2026) is building AI readiness among educators, and students in Thailand and Vietnam. The program goes beyond basic AI literacy. It equips participants with the practical skills, ethical grounding, and confidence to integrate AI meaningfully into their classrooms and workplaces.

Participants gain a solid foundation in how AI works, its key concepts, and how it is already being applied in educational settings. This module demystifies AI and helps educators feel confident approaching the technology for the first time.

Maximize Productivity with AI Tools

Educators explore practical AI-powered tools that streamline lesson planning, content creation, grading, and administrative tasks — freeing up more time for meaningful student engagement.

Discover the Art of Prompting

Participants learn how to communicate effectively with AI systems through well-crafted prompts. This includes techniques for getting accurate, relevant, and useful outputs from AI tools across a variety of teaching and research scenarios.

Use AI Responsibly

This module covers the ethical dimensions of AI use, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, academic integrity, and the importance of critical thinking when working with AI-generated content. Participants leave with a clear framework for responsible implementation in their classrooms.

Stay Ahead of the AI Curve

With AI evolving rapidly, this module focuses on building a mindset for continuous learning. Participants explore emerging trends, discover strategies for staying current, and develop the adaptability needed to grow alongside the technology.
